Our first web site, Scaredofflying.com, was started by Keith whose flying career began at 16 when he first flew a glider. At 17 he left school and took a job as a hospital porter to pay for flying lessons. In 1964 he became the youngest person in the UK to hold a flying instructor’s certificate and then the youngest person to be the Chief Instructor of a UK CAA approved flying school.
He spent 27 years as a pilot in British Airways. He has flown almost  20,000 hours and has a training style that is recognised as innovative and effective. After retirement he became one the first CAA approved examiners in Human Factors (safety) for pilots and cabin Crew. He now runs scaredofflying.com , LOGBOOK 24/7 and  flyingwithout fear.com. He is is an airline training consultant with airlines around the world. Keith has written the book Flying without Fear, the text for both the Audio CD Set and the In Flight Guide.

Turi Vorland is a Senior Purser with British Airways at Gatwick and has many hundreds of flying hours experience. Her Cabin Crew work has taken her around the world and here at www.flyingwithoutfear.com she is active with help and advice in the Forum (aka Princess) and has advised on our help casts and facts about flying. She helped to design the Sights and Sounds Seminar and she co- presents them.

Vivienne Rose was an aircraft and traffic dispatcher with KLM.uk at Southampton airport for 8 years, and has wide experience in dealing with passengers with a fear of flying. She brings a ground crew perspective to the fear of flying programme.

Kirstie Austin is a trained psychodynamic counsellor and CBT therapist who advises us on therapies and personal development. She ran her own Practice in the UK and now works within the Health Industry as a Trainer.
